• You have already received your Year File with all your subject material, apprentice handbooks with the assignments and their due dates and the rules and guidelines of apprenticeship.

• You will learn about how the PGA works, the services it offers and the benefits to its members and you will receive all relevant hand outs.
• You will meet your lecturers and mentors who will be responsible for the different subjects for the year ahead
• The subject material will be covered and insights into the more difficult areas will be provided. (We strongly recommend you go through your notes prior to arriving at residentials because the lectures will be (A) interactive and you will need to make a contribution and (B) so that you are able to have a better understanding of the subjects and you can ask questions should something not be clear)

• Registration will be at 07h00 on Monday 2nd July 2012 (Year 1 & 2) and Wednesday 11th July 2012 (Year 3)
  (Reminder to take into account the Johannesburg traffic congestion in the mornings!)
• Lectures start promptly at 08h00 and finish at 16h00 except on Friday (start 07h30 and finish 15h00)
• Lunch will be served daily.

• Please note that you have to have paid your fees in full or have a payment plan & debit order in place and have made the first down payment prior to attending.

• Apprentices must wear proper golfing attire

• The course for women will be set up at least 10% shorter than for men.

• Take the R24 Johannesburg and then the N3 North Pretoria, take the Linksfield off ramp. Turn right at Linksfield Road
• Continue onto Club Street. Turn Right at Gemmil Street (just after the ENGEN Garage & Soccer field).
• Go to the T-junction and turn right.
• Go through the security boom and turn left at Denny Dalton Road. Continue onto Fairway avenue.
• Club is on left hand side.

• Travelling either North or South - take the Linksfield Road off ramp and turn right.
• Carry on straight along this road into Club Street ext. for about 3.5 km's.
• Turn right into Gemmil Street (clearly signposted) (just after the ENGEN Garage & Soccer field).
• Go to the T-junction and turn right.
• Go through the security boom and follow the road to the left into Denny Dalton.
• The road curves to the right into Fairway Avenue - look out for the entrance to the golf club on your left hand side.

• If you are travelling on the M1 north take 11th Street offramp.
• If you are travelling on the M1 south take the Glenhove offramp
• Turn east towards Louis Botha Avenue and keep going until you reach the intersection with Louis Botha Avenue
• Turn right into Louis Botha Avenue and keep going until you reach 10th Street Orange Grove.
• Turn left into 10th Street and carry on until you reach the T-junction.
• Turn right into Council Street and proceed up to the robot.
• Now left right into Club Street Extension
• Continue along this road for about 1 km and turn left into Gemmil Street (clearly signposted)
• Go to the T-junction and turn right.
• Go through the security boom and follow the road to the left into Denny Dalton.
• The road curves to the right into Fairway Avenue - look out for the entrance to the golf club on your left hand side.
